HMEMSA Medical Committee is planning a humanitarian mission to Ibn Tofail Hospital in Marrakech, Morocco in two phases. Phase I consists of a pilot project from July 6 to July 15, 2011 to form and train the code team of the Cardiac Unit of Hospital Ibn Tofail. Phase II is scheduled for the summer of 2012 to perform 15 heart operations to benefit underprivileged children.

Rabat, 22/10/10- Le Ministère chargé de la Communauté Marocaine Résidant à l'Etranger a annoncé, vendredi, le lancement d'un appel à candidature pour 1000 bourses d'étude au titre de l'année universitaire 2010-2011 au profit des étudiants marocains démunis résidant à l'étranger.
Ces bourses sont destinées à cette catégorie d'étudiants qui poursuivent leurs études supérieures dans les pays d'accueil dans les différents cycles (licence, Master et de Doctorat), précise un communiqué du Ministère.
A cet effet, les étudiants désirant bénéficier de ces bourses sont invités à déposer leur dossier de candidature, dûment complété selon les conditions définies dans l'appel à candidature, auprès des postes diplomatiques et consulaires du Royaume du Maroc à l'étranger.
Il est à signaler que la date limite de dépôt des dossiers de candidature est le 31 décembre 2010.
L'octroi desdites bourses entre dans le cadre de l'accompagnement social des marocains résidant à l'étranger se trouvant dans une situation de vulnérabilité, et de la mise en œuvre de la convention de partenariat entre le Ministère chargé de la Communauté Marocaine Résidant à l'Etranger et le Ministère de l'Education Nationale, de l'Enseignement Supérieur, de la Formation des Cadres et de la Recherche Scientifique.
Ces bourses universitaires concernent exclusivement les étudiants Marocains résidant à l'étranger.

Training course in Sweden, Sweden September 20 – October 15, 2010
This Programme invites participants from six countries in the Middle East and Northern Africa (MENA) region, to increase their knowledge of and share experiences on how to promote human rights towards gender equality.
Learn the basis for the concepts around learning, participation, facilitation and leadership, and change management, which are central to managing for impact. A start will be made with the first phase of strategic design: situation analysis, which includes institutional, and stakeholder’s analysis and a more in depth analysis of problems, issues, visions and opportunities.
