Educational Medical Mission for the Orphans
The objective of HMEMSA medical missions is to better the health of Moroccan and American people through the facilitation of the exchange of expertise, sharing the latest evidence-based practices while providing much needed healthcare services to orphans and vulnerable people in Morocco.
Past projects:
2009- 2010: Building “Infection Control Committee” of Rabat Children Hospital and Casablanca 20 Aout hospital.
2011-2013 (link to PPT of RRT): Training “Rapid Response Team” and set up emergency response system of Ibno Tofil Hospital and Marrakech CHU.
2017: HMEMSA conducted an educational medical and dental mission to two orphanages, one is Association de Protection et d'Assistance orphanage in Rabat and the second is at Sanabil Al Khair orphanage in Ain Atiq.
Mission accomplishment
April 21th 30 people attended the educational session at Children Hospital of Rabat
April 22 and 23 Sale orphanage: 117 children treated 561 services provided
April 24 and 25th Temera orphanage: 188 children treated and 538 services provided
2018: Medical and dental educational mission to orphanage “Maison d'enfant Lalla Hasna” and “Centre Baouafi”, Casablanca.
2019: HMEMSA conducted an educational medical and dental mission benefiting orphans residing at LeNid and L’annex of Rita Zniber Foundation.
